Ken Ross, Fern Stewart Welch, and Rose Winters are available for speaking engagements nationwide. Elisabeth’s son Ken, a professional photographer and photography editor of Tea with Elisabeth, brought his mother to Arizona to live with him when her health began to decline. Rose, a documentary film producer and associate editor, was a close friend of Elisabeth’s for many years. Both serve on the board of the Elisabeth Kübler-Ross Foundation. Fern Stewart Welch, a veteran writer and executive editor of Tea with Elisabeth, was also a close friend of Elisabeth’s who helped care for her during her years in Arizona. Ken, Fern, and Rose are available to speak about Elisabeth the person, shedding light on the human side of the international icon who changed the way the world thinks about death and dying.
This mother-daughter team brings hope through their theme of Being Open to Signs of Continued Love. Karla is the founder of Quality of Life Publishing. She is an expert in grief and end-of-life care with 20 years experience, the author of several grief support books, and is available to speak on grief support, caregiving, volunteering, and advance directives. Jenny is the author of her own teen-to-teen grief support book, Weird Is Normal When Teenagers Grieve, and is available to speak to groups about the unique needs of a grieving teenager. Five members of Karla and Jenny’s immediate family have been blessed by hospice and palliative care.
C. Andrew Martin, MSN, RN, CHPN
The author of Reflections of a Loving Partner: Caregiving at the End of Life, Andrew is a Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) Coordinator at Beacon Hospice, Inc., in Boston. He holds nursing Adjunct Faculty positions at both Saint Joseph’s College of Maine and Boston College, in addition to a part-time Consultant position with the Hospice Education Network, Inc. He is the President-Elect of the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association-Boston Chapter, serves on the board of the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association (HPNA) Membership Committee, and is trained as an Approved Educator for both the HPNA and the End-of-Life Nursing Education Consortium (ELNEC). Andrew has presented at the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organizations’s Management and Leadership Conference and Clinical Team Conference, and also at many state hospice organization conferences. Andrew’s passion is raising hospice and palliative care awareness and is available to speak to your organization.

Richard Ballo, author of the award-winning book, Life Without Lisa, is a popular radio talk show guest and special event speaker. Rich has hosted a variety of community outreach events at organizations from Hawaii to Massachusetts. He uses themes such as “The Art of Journaling” and “The Healing Power of Words.”
Author of Higher Tea: The Essence of Joy, Dr. Gerali has over 30 years of progressive leadership experience with the American Cancer Society, Oncology Nursing Society, and Prevent Blindness America. She created and facilitated multidisciplinary cancer care teams, professional organizations, and womens’ groups. Pamela shares her wisdom through interactive workshops, continuing education seminars, retreats, and innovative special events.
Former NFL quarterback Eric Hipple’s life took a tragic turn when his 15-year-old-son Jeff died by suicide in 2000. Eric has since devoted his life to building awareness of depressive illnesses, traveling nationwide speaking to teens and adults about ways to recognize the signs of depression and risks for potential suicide. He is the author of Real Men Do Cry and works with the University of Michigan Depression Center as an outreach coordinator.
Kevin Quiles, MDiv, author of Spiritual Care to Elderly and Dying Loved Ones, has provided spiritual and bereavement counseling to elderly and dying individuals and their families since 1998. He earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree at Southeastern College in 1987, attained a Masters of Divinity Degree with emphasis in Counseling at Reformed Theological Seminary in 1995, and has completed over two years of clinical-pastoral education under professional supervision.
